My family and I are pleased to share our heritage with you as we prepare our famous Mediterranean and Turkish dishes for you and your family. I have always dreamed of opening a restaurant and my father, a butcher of 45 years, has always been my biggest supporter. The Esar family moved to Tucson 6 years ago and have been sharing their love of Mediterranean food ever since. Chef-owner Kamran Esar and his family will work together to bring you fresh, authentic Turkish cuisine right in Tucson. His father also brings 45 years of experience as a butcher right to the kitchens at Istanbul. They plan to open their restaurant Istanbul Mediterranean Cuisine and Bar in mid-August so you and your family can experience the tastes of the Mediterranean.
